Attractions You should See When in Thailand

What do you expect to find in a premier holiday destination? Perhaps, one of the many things that would come to mind is its historical and architectural wonders. Well, if you are heading down to Thailand, then you will get to see these types of attractions and so much more. That is because this country in Southeast Asia is home to old and modern structures that will surely blow your mind away. So, where should you go first?

No Thai holiday would be complete without seeing this dazzling structure that boasts magnificent architecture and intricate design. For over 150 years, it was home to the King, the Royal Court, and the administrative seat of the government. Within its walls, you will also find other impressive buildings, including the Wat Phra Kaew that houses a famous and revered Emerald Buddha.

  • Wat Pho

It is also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of Thai massage. Aside from these, it is one of the largest and oldest wats (temple art and architecture) in Bangkok. You will find this amazing creation in the Rattanakosin District next to the Grand Palace.

  • Old Phuket Town

This part of Thailand has a rich history that is shown through its shrines, temples, quaint cafes, and old shops that were beautifully preserved. If you make your way to Thalang Road, then you will find buildings, which are of Sino-Portuguese architecture. Then, there is also Soi Romano, which in old-fashioned Thai actually means 'naughty with the old ladies'. Well, you can pretty much guess what the place was previously used for, until it was renovated.

Aside from these, the entire country still has a lot to offer. And, you have better opportunities to breathe in the sights if you go on a motorbike tour. Doing so will let you enjoy the wind and the sun as you visit Krabi or Koh Samui on your Thailand expedition.
